Brand story and collection copywriting for a womenswear brand devoted to the inner icon.

Ace Harper’s eponymous fashion label exists to to use fashion inspired by music, dance and cultural icons to help women liberate their iconic inner self. After helping boutique luxury agency Sui Generis Cartel to develop the new brand’s ‘Be Seen’ positioning, I worked with Ace herself to weave the story of her first collection, ‘Little Miracles’ throughout the brand’s launch.

The collection itself celebrated the accidents of circumstance, everyday choices and life-changing events that make up every woman’s unfolding story.

So, to reflect this concept, we created copy to accompany each product that illuminated key moments in the life story of an unknown protagonist. Initially developed to bring creative theatre to the brand’s initial collection presentation, we translated the approach into landing page creative, product retail descriptions and social media channels.

Initially used to add creative theater to the brand’s collection presentation for fashion writers and retailers, we weaved the same ‘flash of life’ vignettes throughout the consumer experience as a red thread reminding everyone of their right to live like the hero of their own story.
