NIKE GIRL EFFECT LIVE

Creative concepting and development for a one-day festival.

Case study: Nike Girl Effect Live

Nike-backed charity Girl Effect is about using the untapped potential of adolescent girls to end poverty in developing countries.

So to launch the charity in the UK, Sunshine created Girl Effect Live, a one day multi-venue event in London's Brick Lane that aimed to create engagement amongst British girls by connecting them with the lives of girls around the world.

As part of the creative team, I was involved in concepting, curating and delivering:

An immersive theatre installation by Punchdrunk

An interactive FGM education booth

A photography exhibition by Stephanie Sinclair

Comedy by Mae Martin and Ava Vidal

Spoken word sets by George the Poet and Dizraeli

A multi artist exhibition featuring work by Hattie Stewart, Magnus Voll Mathiassen and Michela Picci

And a headline live set by Jessie J
